Quick WarCraft Fast Leveling Guide For Power-Gamers

Saturday, June 26th, 2010

Leveling a mage or thinking about starting a new mage twink? Unsure if you can endure the grueling boredom of questing and grinding all over again?

Now I will share with you a quick system to make leveling as fast and pain-free as possible.

What do you need for fast leveling mages in World of WarCraft?

The Right Talent Build

The talent build is crucial for mages. You should try to balance dealing damage and your survivability in difficult battles. I recommend you start out with the Fire tree to level faster in the early stages. You can easily deal with the mobs one by one.

At level 40 it’s good to switch to Frost even though you will need to adapt your strategy. This spec can handle many mobs at the same time while having a good survivability. For fast leveling, your goal is not to die because it’s very time-consuming.

The Right Attack Rotation

Not much to say here. Try out different skill rotations and see which one kills the mobs the fastest. It also depends a lot on the talent build you choose, and your style of playing.

Once you find a rotation that works, practice it

The Right Questing Path

Once you get Talent Build and Attack Rotation dialed, the only think holding you back is your choice of quests.

The order in which you accept, complete and close your quests is the biggest factor when it comes to fast leveling.

You can ignore “junk quests” (lots of time for little in return) using a leveling guide. They’ll take the decisions and friction out of the game and show you where to go and what to do. And no, they’re not illegal. They are compliant with Blizzard’s Terms of Use.

All right then.

If you use this system you can get it done in less than a week played time. Reading and learning will get you so far – Now it’s time to get into action and implement what you learned.

World Of Warcraft Guides!…who Needs One?

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

That’s a fine and very valid question.

Possibly some knowledge of the history of WoW could be useful here.

September 2nd, 2001, was the day that World of Warcraft was proclaimed as the great new game for the internet. It was on November 23rd, 2004, that World of Warcraft finally hit the internet, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the franchise.

The game has continued to take shape with the first expansion, the Burning Crusade, in 2007 closely followed by the Wrath of the Lich King in 2008. A third expansion, Cataclysm was announced in 2009, but a final date for the release has yet to be set. With such complex beginnings, I am confident you will concur a road map of where to go and what to do would be of great benefit.

Both new players and experienced gamers alike should gain from a wide-ranging guide to the game which should comprise secrets and pointers for success.

Here are a few fundamental tips for those foreign to the game.

The number one thing you will want is somewhere to play. This is called a server. null The two main ways to play the game are either in ‘Player Vs Player’ mode or ‘Role-Playing’. The opposing factions that you can select from are not the good-guys and the bad-guys, and this was important in the progress of the game. Both sides have their heroes and villains.

These are selected from:

The Horde: Blood Elves; Orcs; Trolls; Tauren; Undead.

The Alliance: Dwarves; Draenei; Gnomes; Humans; Night Elves.

Servers are split into three types. Some will allow you to pick characters from both factions while others will only allow you a choice from one or the other.

As you proceed through the game you will gain experience, equipment and gold that will improve your abilities and strengths. As you progress you will meet lots of computer characters and thousands of real players with whom you can play. Most of them are well-behaved people but, like in life, the are a few odd ones. starting at a lowly level 1, you can attain the heights of level 80 and all you need is the correct Wow Guide to get you there speedily.

You can select different professions as you play and prudent selection can greatly help your advancement so again a first-class guide can be very useful indeed.

The various professions available are:

Alchemy; Blacksmithing; Cooking; Enchanting; Engineering; First Aid; Fishing; Herbalism; Inscription; Jewelcrafting; Leather Working; Mining; Skinning; Tailoring.

Now…which Class to play? All are distinctive with different playing styles, benefits and weaknesses. What you need now is a good guide!

These classes are:

Death Knight; Druid; Hunter; Mage; Paladin; Priest; Rogue; Shaman; Warlock and Warrior.

And that’s only where it begins….

If you are raw to the game, this is all thoroughly confusing. So wouldn’t it be nice if there was a WoW Guide to guide you through the complete process and help you along the way.
